Visiting a church for the first time can come with a lot of questions. What should I wear? Where do I go? What will the service be like?
At First Covenant Church, we want your first visit to feel comfortable, welcoming, and easy. Whether you’ve been part of a church your whole life or you’re simply exploring faith, there’s a place for you here.

We invite you to bring yourself to God in worship, trusting that God will meet us in our time together and transform what we have by his presence, his love and his peace.
The main entrance and parking are available just off 90th Street.
We encourage you to join in our singing, praying, giving and engagement with God’s word. If you have little ones who need to use up some energy, you are welcome to use our wiggle room where the worship service will be playing, an usher can direct you.
What to expect

Worship begins at 9:30 AM and runs for about an hour. Many people come early to grab a donut and a cup of coffee and connect with friends at church. After the service there is another time for conversation before our Formation hour starts at 11 AM during the school year.

Most people dress casually at First Covenant. Wear what is comfortable for you. We are a diverse group of people of multiple ages and backgrounds. On any given Sunday you will see people dressed in anything from a comfortable pair of jeans to a sport coat and slacks. We want you to feel comfortable when you walk in!

Everyone is welcome in the sanctuary during worship—including kids! Grab an activity for your children on the way into the sanctuary and settle in together.
We also have a nursery for children through age three, as well as a Wiggle Room for little ones who need a little more freedom to move around during worship.
During the school year, we offer age-appropriate classes for all ages following worship at 11:00 a.m.

We sing, pray, read a passage or two from the Bible and then consider what that passage might say to us today. We encourage you to join in our singing, praying and our engagement with God’s word. Come early and enjoy a cup of coffee and some warm fellowship.
If you have little ones who need to use up some energy, you are welcome to listen to the service in our wiggle room where the service will be playing, an usher can direct you there.

Pastors Greg and Coby would love to meet you! They are available to talk with you on Sunday mornings, and you are always welcome to reach out to them by email.

The best way to get to know First Covenant is to show up! Join us for worship on Sunday or come to one of our Wednesday night dinners when they are offered.
